Children’s Workshop | Ages 6+ (all welcome)

Discover the magic of plants from seed to bloom! In this hands-on workshop, kids will:

  • Learn the life cycle of a plant, from seed or bulb to full-grown plant

  • Explore different plant beginnings: seeds vs bulbs

  • Discover what plants need to grow: soil, water, light, and care

  • Plant two types of seeds, one flower, and one vegetable, and practice labeling and watering

  • Learn how to care for both flowering and edible plants

Kids will also get to see real bulbs and seeds, compare different types, and learn fun facts about early spring growth.

Take-Home:

  • Two planted seeds (one flower, one vegetable) in biodegradable pots

  • Simple care guide for both flower and vegetable

  • “Little Grower” sticker or badge

Please Note:

  • Curriculum aimed at ages 6+, but all are welcome

  • All children must be supervised by a parent or guardian at all times during the workshop
