We’ll cover the signs your plant is ready for a new pot, how to choose the right container and soil, and common mistakes that can cause stress or slow growth. You’ll also learn how different plants respond to repotting and when it’s best to wait.

This drop-in event runs from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., so you can come any time that works for you. Children must be accompanied and supervised by an adult during the workshop. While walk-ins are welcome, we recommend registering online for the easiest experience. A small wait may occur during busy times, springtime fun is in full bloom!

Choose your plant: Select from two different Bonsai plant varieties (Juniper, Ficus or Jade).
Pot your plant: Transplant your selected Bonsai into a beautiful 5" ceramic pot with a saucer, using the proper Bonsai soil.
Wire your Bonsai: Learn the technique of wiring your Bonsai to train it into the shape and style you desire, helping it take on its signature sculptural form.
Trim and shape: Gain hands-on experience trimming and shaping your Bonsai to promote health and achieve a balanced aesthetic.
