Bonsai Styling Workshop: Create, Pot, Wire & Trim Your Own Bonsai!
Have you ever wanted to try repotting or wiring a bonsai but didn’t know where to start? Or maybe you’re excited to create your very own bonsai tree from scratch?
Join us at Anga’s Farm & Nursery in Toronto for a hands-on Bonsai Basics Workshop designed for beginners and anyone eager to explore the art of bonsai care and styling.
In this interactive workshop, you’ll create your own bonsai from start to finish under the guidance of an experienced bonsai practitioner.
Choose Your Plant
Select your bonsai plant from the available varieties, which may include Juniper, Ficus or Jade.
Pot Your Bonsai
Transplant your selected plant into a beautiful 5" ceramic bonsai pot with saucer using proper bonsai soil.
Wire Your Bonsai
Learn the technique of wiring your bonsai to train and guide its growth into your desired shape and style.
Trim & Shape
Gain hands-on experience trimming and shaping your bonsai to encourage healthy growth while creating a balanced, sculptural appearance.
You’ll leave the workshop with your very own styled bonsai tree in a decorative ceramic pot, along with practical skills to continue caring for, shaping and nurturing your bonsai at home.
All materials and tools are provided, including your bonsai plant, 5" ceramic pot with saucer, bonsai soil, wiring materials and the tools needed during the workshop.
