Seminar: How to Create a Pollinator Garden
Celebrate Pollinator Week with us at Anga’s Farm & Nursery! Supporting pollinators isn’t just something we talk about, it’s something we live every day with our own bees thriving right here on the farm.
As both a garden centre and beekeepers, we understand on every level how important pollinators are and how vital it is to provide the right nectar and pollen sources throughout the growing season. This informative seminar will cover the basics of how to create a successful pollinator garden, whether you have a large backyard, a small garden bed, or even just a balcony with containers.
We’ll talk about pollinator-friendly plant selection, how to create continuous blooms throughout the season, and simple ways to support bees, butterflies, and other beneficial insects in your own space. We’ll also be discussing native plants and why incorporating them into your garden is so important for supporting healthy pollinator populations and creating resilient ecosystems.
Even if you don’t have traditional garden space, we’ll also go over how to successfully grow pollinator plants in containers and patio planters.
Guests will also enjoy:
A tour of our pollinator garden
A chance to learn more about the bees here at the farm
A tasting of our own farm honey
A fun, educational, and inspiring seminar for anyone looking to garden with more purpose while helping support local pollinators.
