Helping Everyone Get on the Ice!

Started in 2012 by John Anga, our Annual Hockey & Skate Drive has grown into a heartfelt community tradition here at Anga’s Farm & Nursery.

What began as one person’s dream to make hockey accessible for all has grown into a movement built on generosity, inclusion, and community spirit. Each year, we collect gently used hockey equipment, skates, and sticks to help local families and individuals experience the joy of Canada’s favourite game, without the high cost of gear.

By winter, our greenhouses fill with donations, each one a reflection of our community’s kindness and shared love for the sport. Together, we’re helping new players find their first stick, their first pair of skates, and their first moment on the ice!

How to Donate:

Simply drop off your gently used hockey gear in our Garden Centre drop-off bin, and as a token of our gratitude, you’ll receive a 10% off coupon to spend in-store at Anga’s Farm & Nursery.
