Anga’s Pollinator Series: Kid's Pollinator Pals Workshop
Celebrate the magic of nature and the power of pollinators in this playful and educational hands-on workshop designed to inspire budding green thumbs!
Kids will start with a guided tour of Anga’s beautiful pollinator garden, where they’ll learn about bees, butterflies and other essential pollinators. We'll explore how these tiny heroes help plants grow and thrive, and how to create pollinator-friendly spaces right at home.
After the tour, kids will take part in a fun, beginner-friendly seminar on how to support pollinators through gardening. They'll learn which plants attract different pollinators, simple garden care tips, and the importance of pollinator habitats in urban environments.
Then it’s time to get creative! Each child will paint their very own terracotta pot with one of three adorable designs: a bumblebee, butterfly, or ladybug. Once dried, they’ll choose from a curated selection of colourful, pollinator-friendly plants, perfect for little gardeners, and pot them using kid-safe soil.
