Vendor Terms & Conditions

Anga’s Farm & Nursery

Thank you for your interest in participating as a vendor at an Anga’s Farm & Nursery event. These Vendor Terms & Conditions apply to vendors participating in markets, fairs, seasonal events, and other vendor opportunities hosted by Anga’s Farm & Nursery.

By submitting a vendor application and/or paying an applicable vendor fee, the vendor acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to the following terms.

Applications & Acceptance

Submitting a vendor application does not guarantee acceptance. Anga’s Farm & Nursery reserves the right to approve or decline applications at its discretion in order to maintain an appropriate variety, quality, and balance of vendors for each event.

Acceptance applies only to the vendor, products, and services identified in the approved application. Vendors may not transfer, share, sell, or sublet their booth space without prior written approval from Anga’s Farm & Nursery.

Approved Products & Services

Vendors may only sell, display, promote, or distribute products and services disclosed in their application and approved by Anga’s Farm & Nursery.

Any significant additions or changes to a vendor’s products, menu, services, or booth activities must be approved in advance. Anga’s Farm & Nursery reserves the right to request the removal of products, signage, displays, or activities that were not approved or that are considered inappropriate for the event.

Vendors are responsible for ensuring that all products offered are safe, accurately represented, and compliant with applicable laws and regulations.

Vendor Fees & Payment

Vendor fees vary by event, booth type, and any requested add-ons such as electricity. Applicable fees will be communicated to approved vendors before payment.

A vendor’s space is not considered confirmed until all required fees have been received by Anga’s Farm & Nursery.

Unless otherwise stated for a specific event, vendor fees are non-refundable once a vendor has been confirmed, including if the vendor later chooses not to attend.

Fees may not be transferred to another vendor or event without prior written approval.

Event Changes, Weather & Cancellation

Some Anga’s Farm & Nursery events are held outdoors on a working farm and may operate rain or shine. Vendors are responsible for preparing appropriately for seasonal weather conditions.

Anga’s Farm & Nursery reserves the right to modify event hours, layout, activities, vendor locations, or other event details when reasonably necessary due to weather, safety concerns, operational requirements, or circumstances beyond our control.

If Anga’s Farm & Nursery cancels an event entirely, vendors will be advised of the options available for that particular event, which may include a refund, credit, or transfer where applicable.

Event-specific cancellation and refund conditions communicated during acceptance will take precedence where they differ from these general terms.

Setup, Arrival & Teardown

Approved vendors will receive event-specific instructions regarding arrival, setup, parking, unloading, and teardown.

Vendors must arrive within their assigned setup period and have their booth completely ready before the event opens to guests.

Vendors are expected to remain open and operational for the entire advertised event. Early packing or teardown is not permitted unless authorized by Anga’s Farm & Nursery staff.

Vehicles must be moved to designated vendor parking areas once unloading is complete. Vendors must follow all staff directions regarding vehicle movement and access to the property.

Booth Placement

All booth locations are assigned by Anga’s Farm & Nursery.

Specific booth locations cannot be guaranteed, including locations previously occupied at another event. Vendors may not relocate, expand, or exchange booth spaces without permission.

Booth layouts may be adjusted before or during an event for operational, accessibility, traffic-flow, or safety reasons.

Booths, Tents & Displays

Unless specifically stated otherwise, vendors are responsible for providing their own tables, chairs, tents, displays, signage, equipment, and other materials necessary to operate their booth.

All displays must remain within the vendor’s assigned space and must not obstruct walkways, neighbouring vendors, emergency access, entrances, exits, or guest traffic.

Outdoor tents and canopies must be properly secured and weighted. Anga’s Farm & Nursery may require unsafe tents, displays, signage, or equipment to be removed or adjusted.

Vendors are responsible for protecting their own merchandise and equipment from rain, wind, heat, cold, or other environmental conditions.

Electricity & Equipment

Electricity is limited and is only available when specifically requested and approved in advance. Additional fees may apply.

Vendors requesting electricity must accurately disclose the electrical equipment they intend to operate, including applicable wattage requirements.

Vendors may not bring or operate unapproved high-powered equipment, generators, cooking equipment, heaters, extension systems, or similar equipment without prior authorization.

Food & Beverage Vendors

Food and beverage vendors are responsible for complying with all applicable public-health, food-handling, fire-safety, licensing, permitting, and other regulatory requirements.

Where applicable, vendors must maintain all necessary permits, certifications, inspections, and insurance and must provide proof upon request.

Cooking, heating equipment, propane, open flames, generators, or other potentially hazardous equipment must be disclosed and approved before the event.

Anga’s Farm & Nursery may refuse or discontinue the use of equipment that presents a safety concern or was not disclosed in advance.

Insurance, Permits & Legal Compliance

Each vendor is responsible for determining and obtaining any licences, permits, approvals, certifications, and insurance required for their particular business, products, services, or activities.

Anga’s Farm & Nursery may request proof of insurance, licences, permits, certifications, or other documentation before allowing participation.

Approval of a vendor application by Anga’s Farm & Nursery does not represent confirmation that the vendor has satisfied their independent legal or regulatory obligations.

Sales & Transactions

Vendors are responsible for processing their own sales and providing their own payment methods, cash float, change, receipts, and payment equipment.

Anga’s Farm & Nursery is not responsible for vendor transactions, refunds, chargebacks, lost revenue, theft, or disputes between vendors and their customers.

Vendors are responsible for applicable taxes and their own business reporting obligations.

Conduct

Vendors and their staff are expected to conduct themselves professionally and respectfully toward guests, staff, other vendors, and event participants.

Harassment, discrimination, threatening behaviour, unsafe conduct, excessive noise, aggressive selling, or behaviour that disrupts the event will not be permitted.

Anga’s Farm & Nursery reserves the right to require a vendor to modify their conduct or booth operation or, where necessary, leave the event. Serious or repeated violations may affect eligibility for future events.

Working Farm & Property Safety

Anga’s Farm & Nursery is an active garden centre and working farm. The property may include uneven terrain, grass, gravel, soil, farm equipment, plants, animals, changing weather conditions, and other natural or operational features.

Vendors are responsible for exercising reasonable care while on the property and for ensuring their booth, equipment, staff, and activities do not create hazards for guests or other participants.

Vendors must remain within authorized event and vendor areas and follow directions provided by Anga’s Farm & Nursery staff.

Cleanliness & Waste

Vendors are responsible for keeping their booth and surrounding area clean throughout the event.

At the end of the event, all merchandise, displays, equipment, packaging, garbage, and other materials belonging to the vendor must be removed.

Food vendors are responsible for properly disposing of food waste, grease, cooking materials, and other waste generated by their operation. These materials may not be disposed of on the property except in locations specifically authorized by Anga’s Farm & Nursery.

Damage to Property

Vendors are responsible for damage to Anga’s Farm & Nursery property caused by the vendor, their employees, contractors, equipment, displays, vehicles, or activities.

Vendors may be responsible for reasonable repair, replacement, or cleanup costs resulting from such damage.

Personal Property & Liability

Vendors participate at their own risk and remain responsible for their merchandise, equipment, displays, vehicles, cash, and other personal or business property.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Anga’s Farm & Nursery is not responsible for loss, theft, damage, injury, business interruption, lost sales, or other losses arising from a vendor’s participation, except where liability cannot legally be excluded.

Nothing in these terms is intended to waive rights or obligations that cannot lawfully be waived under applicable law.

Photography & Event Promotion

Photography and video recording may take place during Anga’s Farm & Nursery events.

By participating, vendors acknowledge that their booth, signage, products, and representatives may incidentally appear in event photography or video used to document and promote Anga’s Farm & Nursery events.

Where a vendor has provided photographs, logos, business descriptions, or social-media information for promotional purposes, the vendor grants Anga’s Farm & Nursery permission to use those submitted materials in connection with promoting the vendor’s participation and the applicable event.

Vendors confirm that they have the necessary rights or permissions to provide any promotional materials submitted to Anga’s Farm & Nursery.

Removal or Refusal of Participation

Anga’s Farm & Nursery reserves the right to refuse participation or require a vendor to leave an event where the vendor materially violates these terms, fails to follow reasonable staff instructions, creates a safety concern, misrepresents their products or business, or otherwise significantly disrupts the event.

Depending on the circumstances, removal from an event may result in forfeiture of vendor fees and may affect eligibility for future events.

Event-Specific Requirements

Individual events may have additional requirements concerning fees, deadlines, setup times, parking, booth dimensions, electricity, food service, weather policies, or other operational matters.

These requirements will be communicated to participating vendors and form part of the vendor’s agreement for that event. Where an event-specific written requirement conflicts with these general terms, the event-specific requirement will apply to that event.

Agreement

By submitting an application, accepting an approved vendor space, and/or paying the applicable vendor fee, the vendor confirms that the information provided is accurate and that they have read, understood, and agree to these Vendor Terms & Conditions and any event-specific requirements provided by Anga’s Farm & Nursery.
